1971 / 2027 Calendar - An Authentic Look at a Future That Never Quite Happened

THE MAN & HIS MACHINE — 2027 Calendar

An Authentic Look at a Future That Never Quite Happened

Welcome back to 1971. A time when artificial intelligence promised to revolutionise everything, robots would do the housework, computers would make us rich, and nobody would ever need to wash another dish.

Fifty-six years later, we're still waiting.

Featuring twelve wonderfully optimistic glimpses of a future that didn't quite arrive, this calendar celebrates the magnificent gap between what machines promise and what they actually deliver.

From romantic robots with crushing embraces to automated Christmases where surprise has been discontinued, every month offers another reminder that the future isn't what it used to be.

Why buy it? Because it's funny, beautifully nostalgic and considerably cheaper than an actual robot.

And there's more!

This calendar can be reused in 2038, 2049, 2055, 2066 and 2077. Same dates. Same weekdays. Absolutely no technological advancement required.
